Dodge Dakota Shelby 1989:
Year of construction 1989; a total of 1500 of these were produced; 900 red and 600 white.
The car has been completely customized and tuned
The exterior is almost stock except for the hood scoop and the Centerline Racing Wheels (7x15 and 8.5X15) with the Hoosier Radials.
Engine
High performance 360 ci (instead of the standard 318) that has been completely overhauled with forged .030 pistons
and reconditioned Trans Am X heads with stainless steel valves and HP valve springs. Aluminum Crane Cams roller rockers and pushrods, flat tappet hydraulic Mopar Performance cam and lifter set.
A Melling high volume oil pump with dual oil filters with braided hose and K&N filters.
Ignition: MSD distributor and MSD ignition coil with an MSD 6AL ignition box. The intake is a Weiand Stealth with a 600 cfm Holley
four barrel (4160, without choke) and a K&N air filter on top.
Chrome air filter, valve covers, oil pan, power steering pump and March aluminum pulley set and brackets that decorate the engine.
The exhaust system contains Hooker super competition headers with 2/12 inch exhaust pipe which connects to a set of Flowmaster 40 series
silencers with 4 inch (10 cm) stainless steel exhaust tips that provide a thick sound.
Transmission
Behind this engine is not an A 500 but a stronger rebuild A-727 torqueflite with hp clutches and bands and a shift kit with a light stall torque converter;
two heat sink coolers and braided hose pipes and anodized fittings.
Attached to this is a revised intermediate axle with 3.23 gears that fits the 83/4 rear axle with a new locking unit that replaces the original 81/4 unit.
Frame / Chassis
The chassis has been lowered with Bell-Tech chassis parts (drop kit, springs and shock absorbers) and the rear axle has Competition Enginering
traction bars especially for this car.
All important rubbers have been replaced by urethane and a thicker torsion bar has been mounted at the front and as an extra at the rear for improved road holding.
Interior
The interior is as delivered to Dodge via Shelby and is in perfect condition; For entertainment purposes only, there is a B&M ratched shifter on board
to manually shift the automatic transmission, if desired. Seats, dash, door panels, everyrthing is in perfect condition!!
Papers and registration
All paperwork with details and books, documentation, microfiches (also digital on CD) are included.
The truck comes with Dutch registration and papers.
Odometer reading is around 52,000 km (in miles the odometer currently shows 32061).
This is a unique truck and a very good investment !!!

We speak German, English and Dutch.
