Maybach 57

Hay dos versiones, según el tamaño de la carrocería: Maybach 57 y Maybach 62, las cifras hacen referencia a la longitud en decímetros.
El motor es un doce cilindros de 5,5 litros de cilindrada con dos turbocompresores. Da 550 CV y se distingue sobre todo por su elasticidad. Es tracción trasera y tiene la misma caja de cambios de otros Mercedes, adaptada para soportar la enorme fuerza del motor.
El escudo con la doble M es semejante al que tenía en el pasado. Anteriormente significaba «Maybach-Motorenbau» (fábrica de motores Maybach) y ahora «Maybach Manufaktur».

The engine is a twelve-cylinder 5.5-liter displacement with two turbochargers. It gives 550 hp and is distinguished above all by its elasticity. It is rear-wheel drive and has the same gearbox as other Mercedes, adapted to withstand the enormous force of the engine.
The shield with the double M is similar to the one from the past. Previously it stood for "Maybach-Motorenbau" (Maybach engine factory) and now "Maybach Manufaktur".
